    Description

Offered for sale is a stunning piece of Depression Glass in the "Tea Room" pattern.  The "Tea Room" pattern was manufactured by the Indiana Glass Company from 1926-1931.  I identified this pattern in the amazing book "Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass" by Gene & Cathy Florence (copyright 2004, 16th edition).  My mother collected this pattern from the 1970's onward  so I can tell you a lot about it.  First and foremost, it is not an easy pattern to locate these days!!  While this vase is not the most difficult piece to locate, it is one of the prettiest.  This vase stands 9 1/4 inches tall and is footed with a scalloped or fluted rim.  The book lists this vase at 9 1/2 inches but this one appears to be a tad bit shorter.  The various geometric shapes (the octagonal foot, the squares and arches of the body, and the fluted edge) give this an incredibly ART DECO appearance.  This is a great piece to add to your Tea Room or Art Deco collection!  The condition of this vase is EXCELLENT with no damage whatsoever!  No chips, no cracks, no discoloration, no problems at all!!  Please see the photos, check my feedback, and ask any questions before making a purchase.  You will be very pleased with this stunning piece of glass!!
